Sarah reached out to me with a specific vision for her and Colin’s engagement photos. She had stopped at the Duluth Courthouse for a work task and thought it was so pretty inside! She sent me some inspiration images of what she had in mind, and we created our own spin on them with her and Colin. The courthouse has a classy, historic vibe to it and I LOVED creating photos to match. Truth be told, I don’t often use flash, but I have discovered with recent sessions that I actually do love the look of it! It adds a flair of light and drama, both of which make me squeal. I am so obsessed with how the photos turned out and oohed and aahed over them again as I created this blog post. We did do some photos outside also, and we made it quick because the Lake Superior wind was whipping and froze our fingers in a hurry.
